One Dog a Leaping

Dogs love to play catch. And some of them are awfully good. It is difficult to get an excellent action shot at dusk. I came close but excellent it is not.

Someday I'll get a fine picture of one of the neighbourhood dogs in action. For now, this image will have to do.

Surely, you jest, sir. Or maybe you mean 'close' in the Garfield Sobers sense ...

The face of the dog is in focus, his paws not so. The ball not at all. So you got him in that instantaneous stop at the apex of his leap as his paws stat to move. The ball still tearing on in ...

Yes, you should have probably waited that extra split of a second for his mouth to open, tongue to appear and saliva to dribble ...

As for me, I'm having none of that self-effacing crap.

Well done, sir. Bravo!!

Actually, I think this is an excellent shot of the pooch in action. He's so cute!

Take care.

I find no fault with it. The BOKEH looks good to me and the focus is on the expressive face.

That's a great picture of Tucker! If you're still not totally happy with it, you know he will gladly pose for another. He loves to show off!
